Monday's Activites were...
We are learning the Letter A this week. This seems to be a fun letter for them to practice writing.
Today's activity was by far one of the funnest that we have done. We talked about gravity and how items don't weigh very much. We then crumpled up white paper to make moon rocks, split up into 2 teams and then stood behind a line made with yarn. The object of the games was to throw your moon rocks to the other team, but not step over the yarn or you would float into outer space. Count down from 10 to 1 and then blast off they began to throw their moon rocks.
I am sure that by today (Friday) you have heard the song, "We'll be Orbiting Round the Moon" sung to the tune of If your Happy and you Know it. Have them show you the actions for orbiting, landing, walking, blasting off again, and landing again.
I love singing with your kids!!!!!!
