"L" is for Luau, Leis, Lemonade and Lots of Love

Monday starts another great week.  We are working on Letter "L" this week.  We are learning our "L" Letter song so that we can practice and learn how to draw our letters.

Ask your kiddos what Aloha means and what kind of good foods grow in Hawaii on the trees.

We sang the song "I'm a little Hawaiian child", to the tune of I'm a little tea pot.  We did hula dancing, swimming, diving, climbing coconut trees, and saying Aloha.  (hello and goodbye)

For Arts and Crafts your children learned to make leis.  They colored beautiful flowers and strung, straws, ribbons and flowers on their necklaces.

We read books to each other about Hawaii and watched some fun videos about hula dancing and fire dancing.  Go ahead and check out the links below and asked your child which dance was their favorite.

We are also learning about following rules and why it is important.  We will be doing puppet shows this week to tell stories about following rules.

Another great day at "Here We Grow"
